Effective from 6 November 2026
The Austrian Legacy League allows full-proxy decks in league play. There is no limit to the number of proxies in your main deck or sideboard, provided they meet the guidelines below.
1. ALL proxies take priority
If an ALL proxy is available for a card you wish to proxy, you must use the ALL version.
ELM-proxies, created by us and the ELM-team for the European Legacy Masters events, are of course also still allowed.
For cards for which no ALL proxy is available, you may use your own proxies. There is no additional proxy limit.
This requirement concerns proxies only—you can, of course, continue to play genuine cards.
2. Accepted player-made proxies
The following types of player-made proxies are permitted:
- MPC-printed proxies
- Printed proxies, preferably created using MTG Print
- Hand-drawn proxies on blank cards, provided all necessary card information is clearly readable
A proxy must clearly identify the card it represents. Its name, mana cost, rules text and other relevant information must be legible.
Writing on basic lands or on the back of existing cards is not permitted.
3. Clearly identifiable as proxies
Proxies must be clearly recognisable as proxies and must not use the official Magic: The Gathering card back.
We do not support counterfeits or cards designed to pass as genuine Magic cards.
4. A consistent, unmarked deck
Your deck must be sufficiently uniform that individual cards cannot be identified without seeing their faces.
The tournament organiser may reject proxies if their appearance, construction or condition makes individual cards distinguishable within the deck.
5. Appropriate content
Pornographic, political, racist, discriminatory, extremist or otherwise inappropriate or unlawful content is prohibited.
6. Final approval
The Austrian Legacy League has the final say on whether a proxy is acceptable. If you are unsure about a particular proxy, ask the organising team before playing it.
ALL Proxy Card Catalogue
The following cards are listed in our current ALL proxy inventory.
This is a catalogue of ALL-produced proxies—not a restriction on which other cards you may proxy, and not a list of cards legal in Legacy. A card’s inclusion here does not override the format’s banned list.
The catalogue does not show quantities or guarantee availability at a particular event.
